MentalHealthTreatment.ai explains how mental health treatment is organized, so that when a clinician or an insurer recommends a level of care, you understand what is being recommended and why.
What we do
We publish plain-language guides, with sources listed, on the full continuum of care, from outpatient therapy and medication management through intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential treatment, and inpatient hospital care. We also maintain an interactive assessment that walks you through the same factors a clinical intake would consider and explains which level of care is typically recommended for situations like yours.
What we don't do
We are not a treatment facility. No treatment program pays to appear here. The phone numbers listed on this site are public resources: 911, 988, the Crisis Text Line, Poison Control, the SAMHSA National Helpline, and the NAMI HelpLine.
Who publishes it
MentalHealthTreatment.ai has a business relationship with Palm Beach Recovery Centers, South Jersey Recovery Program, Palm Beach Healing Centers, and Emerald Wellness: the owner of MentalHealthTreatment.ai also holds an ownership stake in these programs. None of these programs owns MentalHealthTreatment.ai, and MentalHealthTreatment.ai receives no referral payments. We think you should know that up front rather than find it out later.
If you use our contact form, your name, email, and message are sent to the owner of MentalHealthTreatment.ai and shared with our help center, which will reach out to you and may talk with you about treatment options, including the programs the owner holds a stake in. How the site is funded and what it collects are laid out on the ownership and disclosure page.
Editorial standards
Guides are written and edited by ZSKFL Management. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Guides cite public health agencies, federal regulations, and professional bodies such as NIMH, SAMHSA, CMS, and the American Psychiatric Association, plus peer-reviewed research where a claim depends on it. Sources are listed at the bottom of each guide. Where the evidence is limited or mixed, we say so.
Our content is educational and is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mental health conditions can involve serious risk to safety; decisions about care should always involve a qualified clinician.
The assessment tool
The guided level-of-care assessment is the first interactive tool on the site. It runs entirely in your browser; we don't store or transmit your answers.
Corrections and contact
If something on this site is inaccurate or out of date, tell us through the contact page and we'll review it against current evidence. Messages sent through that form are shared with our help center, as described above.
